What We Look For in a Partner

Required

  • Licensed contractor in your state (or equivalent)
  • General liability insurance ($1M minimum coverage)
  • Proper spray foam equipment (proportioner, heated hose, guns)
  • Completion of ThermoSeal 12-module certification program
  • Commitment to using ThermoSeal products on ThermoSeal-led jobs

  • Prior spray foam installation experience (helpful but not required)

Questions From Installers

Answers to what spray foam contractors ask before joining the ThermoSeal network.

No prior spray foam experience is required. Our 12-module online training program covers everything from fundamentals through equipment operation, application techniques, troubleshooting, and business management. Completion of all modules and passing each quiz at 80% or above earns your ThermoSeal Certified Installer credential.
ThermoSeal open cell (500/800) processes at 129°F heater/hose temperature and 1,200 PSI. ThermoSeal closed cell (HFO/5G) processes at 110–120°F heater/hose temperature and 1,200–1,450 PSI. Standard proportioning equipment (Graco or equivalent) is compatible. Our technical team can advise on equipment selection during onboarding. Important: do not recirculate closed cell products.
ThermoSeal actively markets to homeowners, builders, and commercial property owners. Qualified leads generated through ThermoSeal's national marketing are distributed to certified installers in that geography. Certified installer status is required to receive leads. Lead distribution is based on service area coverage, responsiveness, and installer performance ratings.
ThermoSeal certified installers receive preferred pricing on all ThermoSeal products. Specific discount tiers are based on annual purchase volume: the more you buy, the better your pricing. Installers also receive priority access to product allocations during supply-constrained periods and early notification of new product launches and formulation updates.
The certification program consists of 12 modules (11 training + 1 final exam) with 52+ slides and 52+ quiz questions. Most installers complete the program in 6–10 hours of focused study. Modules can be completed at your own pace; progress is saved between sessions so you can work through the training around your schedule.
